Madeline Preston is Projects Editor for the universe of Dallas Next publications, which includes Dallas Innovates, DALLAS Economic Development, and DALLAS Relocation+Newcomer. Dallas Next is the publisher for the Dallas Regional Chamber. Preston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Involved with the Transfer Mentor Program and a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member, she’s previously worked as a journalist for Dallas Innovates and as an intern on a mayoral campaign in Dallas. Preston has previously volunteered with Journey of Hope, a grief support center in Dallas. Additionally, she’s independently traveled, volunteered, and gained insights in 27 countries around the world. She’s now pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at UT Dallas. She plans to use her education and travel experiences for policymaking, advocacy, and creating a more sustainable world.
