Amazon Has Invested $15B in North Texas—And a Total of $29B Across the State—since 2010

On Wednesday, Amazon announced findings from its 2021 U.S. Economic Impact Report, sharing a by-the-numbers look at its U.S. investments.

With its recently opened fulfillment center in Forney, Amazon now has more than 30 operations facilities across Dallas-Fort Worth—making North Texas its biggest market in the state. The company now has 37,000 direct employees in DFW alone.
