Veteran-founded Wiley X has been providing premium protective eyewear to the U.S. military since its founding as a family-owned company in 1987. It built its new HQ in Frisco from the ground up, relocating from its former home base in Livermore, California. The company's products have a devoted following among outdoorsmen and women who hunt, fish, and shoot—along with government and first responder networks.

The report by RentCafe—"Top 50 Cities for Finding New Apartments in 2023"—ranks Frisco and McKinney as the No. 4 and No. 5 cities in the U.S. for finding an apartment that only a limited number of people, or maybe even no people, have lived in before. Plano-based IT services firm Improving said the deal is expected to increase its annualized revenue exceeding $275 million and will further its geographic reach throughout the U.S. and Latin America. In addition to its Plano HQ, Zigatta has offices in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Universal Parks & Resorts is planning a new theme park concept "unlike any other in the world"—and it aims to build it right here in North Texas. The proposed park will be sited within 97 acres of land Universal recently purchased in Frisco, and will target "a whole new generation of fans" on a more intimate scale than larger Universal parks.
An adjacent themed hotel will be also be part of Frisco's newest attraction.

A 9-acre central park designed by the landscape firm behind Klyde Warren Park will be at the heart of the development that includes office, retail, residential, and two hotels. "We want every view to be a beautiful one," says Tim Campbell.

Kaleidoscope Park—under construction now near the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway in Frisco's HALL Park development—will feature a performance pavilion, shaded promenades, Wi-Fi-equipped "technology terraces," and a permanent art installation by fabric artist Janet Echelman constructed of "atomized water particles" and an engineered fiber that's 15 times stronger than steel.
Executive director Dr. Scott Stewart says the park "will be a community park in the truest sense of the word," offering "a free, open, and accessible public space to enjoy, create, and inspire."
