Coworking Company Spaces to Add 4 New Locations Totaling 173,398 SF

Spaces has made a priority of expanding throughout both urban and suburban markets in North Texas.

Global coworking company Spaces will be adding four new North Texas locations totaling 173,396 square feet of space within the next six months, with the first of the new spots opening next week at Legacy Central in East Plano.

The Legacy Central location sits on Chase Oaks Blvd and is scheduled to open on Aug. 26. After that, it will be the third Spaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth region (Spaces already has locations in Southlake and Uptown Dallas).

The three additional spots to follow will be at the Shops at Legacy, West Plano Village, and The Epic in Deep Ellum. They are expected to open later this year or in early 2020.

Spaces said that it has made a priority of expanding throughout both the urban and suburban markets in North Texas.

“IWG has been operating in DFW for nearly 30 years under our Regus brand and the area now serves as the U.S. hub for our Spaces brand, so we are very familiar with the uniqueness of the region,” Michael Berretta, vice president of Network Development for IWG, said in a statement. “Dallas is a great, dynamic and vibrant city with very distinct submarkets. We are building an extensive network of locations across these submarkets to ensure our members have easily accessible locations close to home or to their clients.”

Spaces is owned by International Workplace Group (IWG), formerly known as Regus. IWG operates more than 3,000 locations across 900 markets in over 120 countries.

Berretta said that Spaces members can use any of IWG’s 53 local locations or more than 1,100 locations across the U.S.

Spaces will occupy 48,171 square feet at Legacy Central, 47,046 square feet at the Shops at Legacy, 31,152 square feet in West Plano Village, and 47,026 square feet at The Epic, according to CBRE.

“We’re seeing a big demand for the perfect blend of edgy, cool and professional environment that Spaces offers,” Baron Aldrine, CBRE executive vice president, said in a statement. “Spaces has done a fantastic job of leveraging their long-standing customer relationships to really understand the market and drive their choices. They are meticulous in choosing locations and have taken their time to ensure they’re going into very unique and creative ‘live, work, play’ developments.”
