Gauge Capital, a middle-market private equity firm based in Southlake, Texas, has announced the successful closing of its fourth fund, which was oversubscribed with roughly $1.4 billion in commitments.
Gauge Capital said its team is the largest investor in the fund and represents over 25% of the committed capital.

Sabre Corp., a Southlake-based travel technology provider, has named former Wyndham Worldwide executive Gail Mandel as executive chair of the board. Mandel, who has served on Sabre’s board since April 2020, will assume her new role at the company’s 2024 Annual Meeting on April 24.

Southlake-based Chef Holdings Inc. has appointed Terence “Terry” O’Brien to succeed Mike Buccheri as chief executive officer under a board-approved succession plan. The appointment was effective Wednesday.
Chef Holdings is the parent company of CTI Foods LLC and Liguria Foods LLC.

Gore Range Capital, which moved its headquarters from New York to Southlake in 2021, announced that David A. Hashemi, MD, MBA, a senior dermatology resident physician at Harvard Medical School, has joined the firm as entrepreneur-In-residence.
