In November, we told you about something amazing coming to North Texas: Cosm is bringing one of its first two immersive entertainment venues to Grandscape in The Colony, with state-of-the-art "shared reality" that seamlessly bridges the gap between the virtual and the real.
Today Cosm announced a partnership with the NBA that could one day drive lots of Dallas Mavericks fans (and OK, fans of other NBA teams too) to its Grandscape venue. The multi-year partnership will feature a new live game viewing experience unlike anything you've ever seen on your TV or a sports bar near you.

That's just one insight the billionaire shared in a fireside chat with Backstage Capital founder Arlan Hamilton at the Venture Dallas conference last week. “There's always going to be somebody smarter, there's always going to be somebody faster, better," Cuban added. "I just try to work a little harder.”

At the 37th annual Texas Women’s Foundation luncheon, Olympic track and field legend Allyson Felix was a key voice, showing that speed is of the essence when it comes to advancing opportunities for girls and women. With a theme of "Transforming Texas," the event also featured Dallas Mavericks President and CEO Cynt Marshall, the award-winning Garland High School step team, and a live-streaming room next door where 200 local students took it all in.
"Strive to live bravely," Felix told the audience and the students watching next door.

The T.D. Jakes Foundation, Dallas Mavericks, and Goldman Sachs announced the winners of its free, two-week immersive 'Hackathon' for kids aged 14 to 18. Six local high school students won for developing an app for people suffering from mental illness to get the help they need.

The charitable foundation of Dallas Mavericks owner and serial entrepreneur Mark Cuban—is teaming up with local tech firms to launch its free AI Bootcamps for high school students across North Texas and beyond.
“These young leaders can now participate in the conversation around how AI should be developed and used,” Cuban has said. “We’re giving them a seat at the table.”
