Steve Gray, CEO and co-founder of Dallas-based RSP Permian Inc., recently received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 National Award in the Energy, Cleantech, and Natural Resources category.
“I am truly humbled to receive this award, and do so on behalf of my fellow founding partners and the entire RSP team. This achievement reflects our collective vision and hard work,” Gray said in a release. “Together we’ve grown a $180 million initial investment from Natural Gas Partners to a NYSE-listed, $5+ billion market cap company.”
Gray was one of 11 category winners selected by a panel of independent judges. The prestigious awards competition, now in its 30th year, received more than 1,700 applicants nationwide.
“We’ve developed a culture that values innovation and continual improvement, and we’ll continue to work to deliver value to our shareholders and community as we develop our world-class assets in the Permian Basin,” Gray added.
