Heart rate and pulse monitoring device
Patent No. 10154817

Inventor(s): Jonathan M. Whitfield (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): UNASSIGNED
Law Firm: DeLio, Peterson Curcio, LLC (1 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 15828753 on 12/01/2017 (382 days app to issue)

Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for obtaining heart rate by obtaining apical and non-apical heart rate datum using first and second heart rate monitoring devices. The apical and non-apical heart rate data are input into a heart rate verification module (HRVM) that includes a number of programming instructions for effecting the invention. An apical heart rate measure and non-apical heart rate measure are calculated in the HRVM, and an acceptable heart rate range is generated using the apical heart rate measure. Whether the non-apical heart rate measure is a reliable measure of a true heart rate is identified by determining whether the non-apical heart rate measure falls within or outside the acceptable heart rate range. A split display screen of the HRVM displays the apical heart rate measure, non-apical heart rate measure, and information identifying whether the non-apical heart rate measure falls within or outside the acceptable heart rate range.

Abstract: A series of programming pulses, where the individual pulses are identified by a pulse number, is used to program a page of memory cells in parallel. After receiving a pulse, the memory cells under verification are verified to determine if they have been programmed to their respective target states. The memory cells that have been verified are inhibited from further programming while those memory cells not verified will be further programmed by subsequent programming pulses. The pulsing, verification and inhibition continue until all memory cells of the page have been program-verified. Each verify level used in the verification is a function of both the target state and the pulse number. This allows adjustment of the verify level to compensate for changes in sensing, including those due to variation in source line loading during the course of programming.

Abstract: A method and system to manage coordinated transmission of data in a wireless communication system. When a serving base station receives data of a particular class for transmission to a user equipment device (UE), the serving base station transmits the received data to the UE and sends a proper subset of the received data to a neighboring base station for the neighboring base station to also transmit to the UE optimally concurrently with the serving base station”s transmission of the proper subset. To help comply with a policy in place at the neighboring base station, the serving base station decides how much of the received data to send to the neighboring base station as the proper subset by (i) determining what scheduling weight the neighboring base station is set to apply for data of the particular class and (ii) applying that determined scheduling weight to the received data.

Patent No. 10158826

Inventor(s): Charlie Waters (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): Reel Pro Motion, LLC (Coppell, TX)
Law Firm: Chalker Flores, LLP (Local)
Application No., Date, Speed: 15288961 on 10/07/2016 (802 days app to issue)

Abstract: A system and method for recording and training athletes uses multiple points of view For example, a new football training video in which a stationary camera (75 high) replaces the player (QB). The smooth (not jerky GoPro) easy to see video provides an unobstructed POV from the sightline of the QB (CorneaCAM”CC”) during the execution of live play. For confirmation of visual fields and analyzing the intentions of the defensive team, there are two other cameras videoing the same play. The user will have the capability to view the play from either of the two other angles in real time, to better understand, interpret and confirm what he thinks he sees at the CorneaCAM POV. All three POV”s have freeze frame and slow motion capability.

Transferring data through a bonded communication link
Patent No. 10159088

Inventor(s): Edward Lindsley (Burleson, TX), Stefan E. De Nagy Koves Hrabar (Chapel Hill, , AU)
Assignee(s): Sqwaq, Inc. (Plano, TX)
Law Firm: Dodd Law Group (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 15722499 on 10/02/2017 (442 days app to issue)

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, devices, apparatus, and computer program products for transferring data through a bonded communication link. A bonded communication link bonds together capabilities from each of a plurality of other communication links to form a higher bandwidth communication link relative to each of the plurality of other communication links considered separately. Link qualities can be monitored for each of the plurality of other communication links. Different priorities can be assigned to different types of data. Based on monitored link qualities and assigned data priorities, different data types can be routed via different of the other communication links. Routing different data types via different of the other communication links facilitates selective transmission of higher priority data when quality degrades on a communication link.
