The Last Word: John Quinn of EXOS Aerospace on Competing with SpaceX and Blue Origin

Quinn's Greenville-based company, EXOS Aerospace, is one of three that are currently licensed by the FAA to fly resusable rockets, the CEO told KXAS. The other two? They're just a little bigger: Elon Musk's SpaceX and Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin.

Denton-Based Kubos Corp. Launches Software into Space for the First Time

The takeoff of Kubos' mission control software—dubbed "Major Tom"—will mark its first journey to outer space. Major Tom was scheduled to be on the postponed SpaceX launch, originally slated for Nov. 19. Rescheduled for Nov. 28 but also delayed, the next available launch window is Dec. 1, according to the company.
