Back in August, we showed you a sneak peek inside McLaren's new 31,000-square-foot Americas HQ in Coppell, just northwest of Dallas. Over the weekend, the HQ had its official opening, and dozens of McLaren owners from throughout the region showed up to show off their own wheels—and lust after the rides on display in the HQ. One car that attracted more than one desirous glance was a $3 million Speedtail.

Vari's new global HQ was designed by Dallas-based BOKA Powell. The company's goal: "continue to probe the future of how we work." With open stairwells inside and walking trails outside, getting up and about is encouraged. So is staying healthy: The new HQ is the third building in DFW to receive Fitwel certification for healthy workplaces, the company says. "Most executives are still trying to figure out the future of work, the workforce, and workspaces—that’s where we come in," said Vari co-founder and CEO Jason McCann.

Open Wide: Robots Are Doing Dental Implants in DFW

The Yomi robotic system, developed by Miami-based Neocis, is assisting with dental implants in at least two Dallas-area practices. "It works like a GPS navigation system for the mouth,” says Coppell's Dr. J. Robert Steele. At ArchPoint in Dallas, 172 implants in 90 cases have been placed using Yomi, with patients being "intrigued" by the "minimally invasive experience." Cool fact to watch for below: Yomi's co-developer won an Emmy for creating ESPN's "K-Zone" pitch tracker.
