Mark Jones has been serving as Bonton Farms' interim president since July. The entrepreneur and philanthropist previously served as chairman of the nonprofit's board for three years, and has been affiliated with Bonton for five years.

The Dallas Foundation Announces $1.5M in New Grants to 45 Local Nonprofits

Now she'll be laser-focused on one mission in particular: Bonton Farms, a nonprofit that's working to cultivate change in South Dallas by operating a farmers market, two fully functioning farms, and a café and coffee house. "Both [CEO Daron Babcock] and I believe that Bonton Farms can be the change the world needs, and it’s my greatest honor to partner with him to continue bringing that vision to life," Madison said.

The Dallas Foundation Awards More Than $1.3M to 25 Local Nonprofits

The grants were given to 25 local organizations and initiatives that are "driving meaningful results for children and families." "Each of these awards represents an investment in some of Dallas’ most important needs and most impactful organizations," said Matthew Randazzo, the foundation's president and CEO.
