Diversified Appoints Former NTT Data Exec as Chief Revenue Officer

Tyler Affolter will oversee Plano-based Diversified’s commercial organization, helping to boost growth across the company’s established media, collaboration, and digital signage businesses while utilizing core strengths to expand in broadcast and experiential AV.

Plano-based Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual and media innovation, has appointed Tyler Affolter as its chief revenue officer to advance the company’s “growth at the intersection of media, workplace, and digital experience.”

As CRO, Affolter will oversee Diversified’s commercial organization, helping to boost growth across the company’s established media, collaboration, and digital signage businesses while utilizing core strengths to expand in broadcast and experiential AV.

He also will bring together a go-to-market strategy with the company’s engineering, delivery, and services capabilities through its next phase of growth as it expands its leadership in key media-rich environments, strengthening global client ecosystems and growing “lifecycle support capabilities that extend well beyond deployment,” Diversified said.

Diversified CEO Paul Lidsky said his company’s strategy is centered on “where the market is going and what our clients need from us next.”

“Clients are looking for partners who can support media, enterprise AV, digital experience and services across environments that are becoming more connected and more critical to business performance,” Lidsky added in a statement. “Tyler brings the commercial leadership and large-scale services experience to help us strengthen that model globally and continue executing with focus and discipline.”

Broadcast-grade services for the enterprise market

Affolter has more than two decades of enterprise revenue leadership experience in project-based and managed services organizations with global clients. Most recently, he led an international division at NTT Data that managed the full product lifecycle, including concept, development, delivery, transformation, and market strategies, Diversified said.

He has also held senior leadership roles at Verizon Business, Lumen Technologies, and AT&T, where he built a reputation for boosting revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and managing transformation across cloud, infrastructure, security, networking, and managed services.

“What stands out about Diversified is the clarity of its strategy and the strength of its operating model,” Affolter said. “The company is built for where broadcast-grade performance and enterprise-scale requirements come together. That creates a real opportunity to combine commercial focus, technical depth and lifecycle support in a way that helps clients move faster and operate with more confidence. The focus now is on scaling that advantage.”

Diversified, which relocated to Plano from New Jersey in 2024, is recognized for designing and building some of the world’s most experiential environments. The company said its Emmy Award-winning team specializes in delivering solutions for the most complex, large-scale and immersive installations.

The company serves a global clientele that includes major media organizations and retailers, sports and live performance venues, corporate enterprises, and government agencies.
