Allen-Based Franchise Marketing Firms Rebrand as Thunderly, Chief Growth Officer Named

As part of the rebrand of BizCom Associates and Brand J, Jack Monson, former president of Brand J, has been appointed chief growth officer of Thunderly.

Allen-based marketing firms BizCom Associates and Brand J have officially rebranded as Thunderly, following BizCom’s acquisition of Brand J last year.

Thunderly said the acquisition allowed BizCom to expand its services from PR and social media to include lead-generation, website development, personal branding, video production and other marketing services.

“We didn’t want to just help brands grow, we wanted to elevate them into leaders in their industries,” Thunderly co-founder and CEO Scott White said in a statement. “Today that requires a wide range of marketing expertise and services.”

The firm said its rebranding reinforces its unified approach to delivering high-impact, full-service marketing solutions “that break through industry noise and drive real results.”

Thunderly said its fully-integrated services include franchise lead generation, digital advertising, website design, video production, public relations, social media, thought leadership, crisis communications, graphic design and podcast production.

“We knew it was time to shake things up and present ourselves as the agency we truly are—one that delivers bold, strategic marketing that makes an impact,” Monica Feid, co-founder and COO of Thunderly, said in a statement. “The name Thunderly captures our strengths—being loud, being heard, and forecasting something powerful. It embodies our commitment to creating marketing that doesn’t just exist, but commands attention.”

‘All about accelerating growth’

Jack Monson

As part of the rebrand, Jack Monson, former president of Brand J, has been appointed chief growth officer of Thunderly.

He brings decades of experience in marketing and franchising, positioning him as a key driver of the agency’s expansion efforts, Thunderly said. Also, Monson now serves as chair of the International Franchise Association’s Marketing & Innovation Committee, where he will lead initiatives to foster collaboration and innovation in the franchise industry.

Monson is the host of the Social Geek podcast covering the latest news and happenings in franchising.

“This evolution into Thunderly is all about accelerating growth—for ourselves and for the brands we serve,” Monson said. “By combining the best talent and resources into one firm, we’re now positioned to deliver smarter strategies, faster execution, and bigger results.”

Thunderly said that by offering an all-in-one solution, it eliminates the need for multiple agencies.

“Some think they need separate agencies for different aspects of marketing, which often leads to different teams that don’t collaborate while all trying to work towards the same goals. At Thunderly, we integrate everything to deliver exceptional creativity, strategy, and impact—all from a single powerful source,” White said.
