As Hurricane Harvey continues to pour sometimes heavy rain on southeast Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth coworking offices are opening up spaces for entrepreneurs displaced by the storm.
“Wishing we could do more but at the very least we can help you continue to start, build, and grow your business while everything else is going on,” The Dallas Entrepreneur Center said in a Facebook post.
So far, Dallas Innovates has confirmed the following spaces will offer free coworking for entrepreneurs from Houston and the surrounding areas:
- Addison TreeHouse, 14681 Midway Road, in Addison
- The Dallas Entrepreneur Center, 311 N. Market St., Suite 200, in Dallas
- Stoke, 608 E. Hickory St. Suite 128, in Denton
- Common Desk, all locations — 2919 Commerce St., in Dallas; 633 W. Davis St., in Dallas; and 5830 Granite Parkway, Suite 100, in Plano
- WeWork Thanksgiving Tower, 1601 Elm St., in Dallas; email ttower@wework to reserve a spot.
- Ensemble Coworking, 1617 Park Place Ave., Suite 110, in Fort Worth
- Health Wildcatters, 1910 Pacific Ave., Suite 20,000, in Dallas
- NōD Coworking, 17290 Preston Road, in Dallas
- Industrious, 1722 Routh St., Suite 900 in Dallas; make arrangements here.
- LaunchPad City, 6170 Research Road, in Frisco
- The LIFT Office, 1090 Texan Trail, in Grapevine
- SPACES, 1919 McKinney Ave., in Dallas; the Dallas SPACES location is collecting items for those affected including nonperishable foods, toiletries, feminine products, diapers, wipes, socks, and underwear.
- Regus, will welcome affected entrepreneurs to common areas of its 49 DFW area offices.
- The Study, 801 W. Irving Boulevard, in Irving; the innovation center also is accepting donations of money, canned food, diapers, toiletries/hygiene products, and towels for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The items can be dropped off at The Study from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 1 or at 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 2 at The Cupboard, 2600 Cedar Springs Road, in Dallas.
