Southlake-based Logile is entering a period of “significant growth,” says Vivek Gopalpuria, the company’s vice president of product marketing. The workforce management and store operations software provider is investing in AI-powered capabilities that help retailers make better operational decisions.
“Over the next several months, we’re expanding deployments with major grocery and food service customers across North America and internationally,” Gopalpuria said.
Founded in 2005, Logile has been busy in its 21st year, as more companies seek ways to use AI to make their operations more efficient. Logile says it’s seen substantial growth in new customers as retailers continue to shift toward autonomous operations.
“Retailers are moving beyond basic automation toward intelligence that can think, plan and act with purpose,” founder and CEO Purna Mishra said in a statement. “Our focus is on bringing AI that adapts in real time, collaborates with people, and helps retailers transition from reactive operations to predictive and autonomous performance.”
A new tool for strategic planning
Logile just introduced its enterprise productivity simulator, which lets retailers model workforce, operational and financial decisions. The simulator is part of the company’s workforce management suite. The software uses artificial intelligence, operational models and store-specific information to let retailers simulate key strategic decisions before committing resources.
“For decades, retailers have managed forecasting, workforce planning, budgeting, and execution through separate processes and disconnected systems, making it difficult to understand how decisions made at the enterprise level ultimately impact store performance,” Mishra said in a statement announcing the new software.
The company also recently launched its LogileONE partner ecosystem. This effort brings together consulting, implementation and technology firms to help retailers create more effective strategies focused on faster results.
International expansion accelerates
Gopalpuria pointed to Logile’s growth in international markets, which he says has been its biggest push in 2026. Earlier this year, the company named James Freshwater to lead its UK, EMEA and international expansion, “and that’s already translating into momentum on the ground,” Gopalpuria said.
UK retailer and grocery distributor AF Blakemore is now using Logile’s labor planning software suite to standardize labor practices across its retail operations.
