Why drive to the game when you can practically live next door? That’s just one of the appeals of One Rangers Way, a luxury apartment community that broke ground yesterday across the street from Choctaw Stadium and a short walk from the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field and the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
In a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday, Texas Rangers officials joined city of Arlington leaders and execs from The Cordish Companies in celebrating the new development, which is slated to open in 2024.
Designed by Baltimore-based Hord Coplan Macht, the 300-unit One Rangers Way will be “one of the most luxurious, resort-style apartment communities in the country,” the city says.
The building will feature over 43,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenity space, an expansive outdoor deck with green spaces, an outdoor pool with swim-up bar, indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, a game lounge and fitness center, and personalized concierge services. It will also offer a variety of coworking spaces and a business center and conference room.
A mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and penthouse apartment homes with floor-to-ceiling windows will be available, with high-end materials and appliances, expansive ceiling heights, and balconies at each residence. And to remind residents of what’s nearby, a curated art collection inspired by the Texas Rangers and America’s pastime will be mounted in public areas.
‘A one-of-a-kind living experience’

“There will be nothing like this building in the country,” Marnie Sauls, executive director of residential management for The Cordish Companies, said in a statement. “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for our team to deliver a one-of-a-kind living experience in the heart of Arlington Entertainment District.”
“One of the things that was very important to our company, to the Rangers, to the city, was that we create a 365 community and a heartbeat for the city,” Blake Cordish, principal at Cordish, said at the groundbreaking. “And 24/7 have that energy. To do that, you need great residential.”

One Rangers Way is just part of over $1 billion in new development currently under construction in the Arlington Entertainment District, including the $550 million Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, the National Medal of Honor Museum, and the Spark Coworking facility within Choctaw Stadium.
At the groundbreaking, Arlington Mayor Jim Ross said One Rangers Way is going to be “phenomenal” and will offer “unmatched mid-rise luxury resort-type living right here in the middle of the Entertainment District.”
‘The tip of the iceberg’
“Residential’s always been that missing piece,” said Rob Matwick, Texas Rangers EVP, of the entertainment district around his ballpark. “So this is a huge, huge part of what has always been expected in the development. And I think it’s the tip of the iceberg.”
Ray Davis, the Rangers’ managing partner and majority owner, is looking forward to his new neighbors around the corner.
“The construction of One Rangers Way will bring an upscale residential component to an area that’s already widely known as one of the fastest-growing sports and entertainment destinations in the country,” Davis said in a statement. “The Texas Rangers are proud to partner with the City of Arlington and The Cordish Companies on this incredible project.”
Part of an even greater $4B vision for the city
Yesterday’s groundbreaking for One Rangers Way is part of what the city calls an even “greater $4 billion vision” by the city, the Rangers, The Cordish Companies, and Loews Hotels & Co. to transform the Entertainment District into “the premier sports, entertainment, hospitality, cultural, and lifestyle destination in the country.”
“Together, the total investment of new development by the partnership totals over $2.4 billion,” the city said in a statement.
