Helped raise more than $100 million

Moss has more than 12 years of experience in the social sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge in relationship management and program development, particularly in areas that enhance community impact, The Dallas Foundation and Lyda Hill Philanthropies said.

He’s shown a strong commitment to tackling systemic issues, including poverty and education, which align with the mission of The Dallas Foundation, Lyda Hill Philanthropies, and many nonprofits housing within the Water Cooler, they added.

Moss worked most recently with Dallas’s Child Poverty Action Lab, where he was chief of staff. In that role, Moss provided critical counsel on organizational management and strategy, positioning the organization for successful fundraising campaigns and initiatives aimed at economic mobility.

Under Moss’ leadership, the team successfully raised more than $100 million for a long-term community-wide strategy, significantly contributing to the organization’s growth from $1.5 million to $20 million in net assets.

At Water Cooler, Moss will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, fostering community through events and collaborative opportunities. He also will manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that both tenants and leadership are well-informed and engaged in ongoing initiatives.
