Venture X to Open Full-Floor Coworking Space in Offices at The Realm in Lewisville

Venture X says that the high-tech features of Offices at The Realm, which was recently Wired Certified, will be a good match for its coworking space.

Venture X coworking

Coworking firm Venture X will open a 30,000-square-foot location early next year in the Offices at The Realm development in Lewisville, continuing the company’s growth in North Texas.

The coworking space will occupy the entire third floor of the building, which was recently Wired Certified—a WiredScore program that rates the digital infrastructure and connectivity of a commercial office building, according to its developer Bright Realty. Offices at the Realm is at State Highway 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Josey Lane in the growing Castle Hills area of Lewisville.

“Offices at The Realm is attractive to us for several reasons,” Ese Aihie, a Venture X franchisee, said in a statement. “We appreciate its mixed-use design, with first-floor restaurant and retail; its location near DFW International Airport; the building’s advanced technology; and its proximity to employment hubs in nearby areas.”

Sarah Savage, Ryan Hoopes, and Tom Sutherland of Cushman & Wakefield represented Venture X in the lease, while Lincoln Property Co. represented Bright Realty.

Last year, Venture X opened its Galleria area coworking space at 5301 Alpha Road, which was the company’s first Dallas facility and, at the time, was the third location for the Florida-based coworking company in Texas.

Offices at The Realm is a 9-story Class AA office building with 235,000-square-feet of office space and an additional 16,000-square-feet of first-floor restaurant space. Architects for the 324-acre Realm project are BOKA Powell and 505 Design.

Venture X will offer a variety of coworking options at The Realm

Venture X’s facility at The Realm will feature a diverse array of work-style options including open community work areas, shared desks, private offices, and conference room access.

“We recognize that coworking is both a social phenomenon and a business movement and we want to be a part of that,” Eric Stanley, Bright Realty President and COO, said in a statement. “More than 1,000 coworking spaces opened in the U.S. in 2018, with DFW being sixth in worldwide coworking growth.”

Venture X won’t be the only major tenant coming to Offices at The Realm.

Developer Bright Realty is relocating its headquarters to Offices at The Realm in October, a move that will include all of the Bright Industries companies including American Legend Homes, Belclaire Homes, Avanti Custom Homes, Bright Equities, golf operations for The Lakes at Castle Hills, corporate hospitality operations for Tres Mil Ranch, and Infinity Lawnscape.

Bright Realty was founded in the 1950s by the late H.R. “Bum” Bright, a businessman and former Dallas Cowboys owner.
