“The greatest skill someone can have at first is curiosity.”
Mark Cuban
.…as quoted on LinkedIn by Turnkey Secure business development specialist Carson Elvis, following last week’s Bisnow Multifamily Annual Conference.
The Bisnow Multifamily Annual Conference was held last week at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. As one of the marquee speakers, Mark Cuban took part in the Greater Dallas Planning Council’s “Sports Economic Outlook” discussion with Dallas Interim City Manager Kim Tolbert.
Writing on LinkedIn, Turnkey Secure business development specialist Carson Elvis offered some takeaways. One key one from the event: “The tenant’s experience starts at the front door with functioning access control, ensuring them seamless entry to their home. Exciting to hear more developers bringing on technology consultants in the early planning stages!”
Her takeaways from Cuban’s session? Per Elvis, they were:
1. Cuban wants to bring casinos to Dallas to create a resort-style destination with multiple attractions that people across the world want to visit and bring their family.
2. Sports drive the emotional connection you can’t get anywhere else, which brings a sense of community to an area.
3. The most valuable asset we have is time and we should utilize technology to make things more cost- and time-efficient.
