.…on launching six new games including a “Human Crane” experience, just in time for spring break.
Coppell-based Dave & Buster’s Entertainment is gearing up for spring break by dangling new enticements for visitors—including a new game that literally dangles guests up in the air. The all-new “Human Crane” experience is a life-sized version of the classic arcade claw machine—except here, guests act as the claw. Available in select Dave & Buster’s locations nationwide, the Human Crane gently lowers guests into “a sea of oversized prizes,” plus additional surprises throughout the year.

Along with the Human Crane, Dave & Buster’s is launching six premium new arcade games. Here’s how the company describes them:
- Top Gun: Maverick: Step into the cockpit and take on intense missions inspired by the blockbuster film. Play it first, only at Dave & Buster’s—exclusively available here through Memorial Day. The action doesn’t stop there, since the game will continue to be available to play after the exclusive period ends.
- UFC Challenge: Think you have what it takes to be a UFC champion? Test your speed, skill, and accuracy in this action-packed UFC-themed fighting game. Featuring real UFC fight footage, video instructions, and intuitive gameplay, this game delivers the ultimate test of speed and precision. Exclusive to Dave & Buster’s through January 2027.
- Godzilla VR: Immerse yourself in a virtual reality battle against colossal Kaiju creatures in a thrilling, multi-sensory experience.
- NBA Superstars: Play as your favorite NBA icons in dynamic 3v3 matches, complete with commentary from the legendary Tim Kitzrow.
- NBA Smash ‘N Win: Test your timing and win exclusive prizes from your favorite team in this engaging, basketball-themed game.
- Funko Funcade: Enjoy a retro-inspired game offering a chance to win exclusive Funko collectibles.

All the new games and attractions are available at select Dave & Buster’s nationwide. Guests should check details on availability and deal details in their individual markets, the company said.

In 2022, we told you about two next-gen, robotics-packed Walmart facilities that were coming to Lancaster, just south of Dallas: a 1.5 million-square-foot automated fulfillment center and a 730,000 square-foot automated grocery distribution center. The first opened last year and the second is still under construction. This coming Monday, Jan. 27, marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, also recognized as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. In the run-up to this global event, the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is opening up its doors for free to students this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25 and 26.

Steve Klohn will rejoin Dave & Busters after recent changes, the company said. He had left earlier this year after spending a combined eight years with Main Event and Dave & Buster’s. Klohn was said to be "integral" in the company's June 2022 acquisition of Main Event.
