The Dallas Foundation Awards Nearly $630K to 14 Local Nonprofits

The grants are part of the foundation’s 2025 Spring Grants cycle, intended to fuel critical programs reaching thousands of residents across the region.

The Dallas Foundation announced it has distributed more than $628,000 in grant funding to 14 nonprofit organizations serving the Greater Dallas area.

The grants, part of the foundation’s 2025 Spring Grants Cycle, will support programs reaching thousands of residents across the region, the foundation said.

Chief Impact Officer Vickie Allen, who joined The Dallas Foundation in September to lead its grantmaking strategy, said the foundation is proud to support this new class of local nonprofits through the 2025 Spring Grants Cycle.

“Thanks to the generosity of our donor-advised endowed funds, each grant carries forward a legacy of giving that helps meet today’s challenges while building a stronger, more equitable Dallas for tomorrow,” she said in a statement.

Each grant reflects the philanthropic vision of its founding donor and is made possible through donor-advised endowed funds designed to provide lasting support. The foundation said this year’s awards continue its tradition of funding a wide range of focus areas—including arts and culture, animal welfare, and domestic violence prevention—with an emphasis on meeting today’s needs while investing in a stronger future for Dallas.
