The fastest-growing tech companies in North Texas—and more than a dozen other awardees—were honored at the Tech Titans Awards Gala, held September 29 at the Renaissance Legacy West Hotel in Plano.
Topping the organization’s 2023 “Fast Tech” fastest-growing companies list was Irving-based TAP Innovations. With a name that’s shorthand for theAppPlace, the company delivers cloud-based solutions to eliminate and replace an organization’s manual efforts and spreadsheets. TAP was founded in 2017 by its CEO, John Ragsdale.
The Fast Tech Award honors the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2020 to2022. The ranking was compiled from nominations submitted directly to Tech Titans, Moss Adams, and Comerica Bank. Moss Adams and Comerica Bank Tech and Life Sciences were sponsors for the category.
“Tech Titans is proud to recognize these emerging North Texas companies on the 2023 Fast Tech list,” Paul Bendel, executive director of Tech Titans, said in a statement. “These companies are already making substantial impacts on the tech industry. We look forward to seeing the growth of these companies for years to come.”
