Need a Dallas Mavericks ticket or some team merchandise but don’t have time to run to the American Airlines Center?

Now there’s an app that takes care of that if you’re in the Dallas area.

The Mavericks have announced a partnership with the food delivery app Favor.

“Partnering with Favor gives us one more way to connect to our fans”

According to a release from the Mavericks, fans will be able to check the app up to 48 hours before game time to get tickets for nearly half off. Once a fan buys the ticket on the app, a Favor “runner” will deliver the tickets to the fan.

The app will allow fans to buy team merchandise that can be delivered, too.

“Partnering with Favor gives us one more way to connect to our fans,” Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said in the release. “If a Mavs fan doesn’t have time to search for tickets or a chance to visit the Hangar before a game, Favor can do it for you. It’s like having your own personal assistant. We’re excited to see where this partnership takes us.”

Cuban said this is a unique partnership in the sports business.

“This marks the first-of-its-kind partnership between a professional sports team and on-demand delivery a unique experience to the Mavs fan base,” Cuban said.
