StadiumDrop, a startup that allows you to stay in your seat and order food, beverages, and merchandise at venues across the country, announced that it is making McKinney its home, with employees now working at Serendipity Labs off State Highway 121 and Alma Road.

“Partnerships like this are a big deal. [CEO Kristen McAbee], the executive team, and I are all very excited to be in McKinney,” co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Adam McAbee said in a statement. “This is a great city and has always been one of the nation’s leading cities in growth. Having offices here gives us strategic advantages in the region.”

Peter Tokar III, president of the McKinney Economic Development Corp., said adding StadiumDrop to the city’s roster of businesses adds to the city’s economy.

“We’ve worked hard to reinforce that innovation and unique fresh ideas are a part of our nature here in McKinney. StadiumDrop joins the multitude of other companies and startups who have made Mckinney home,” Tokar said in a statement. “They have so much to add to this creative and disruptive technology ecosystem—we celebrate the strides they have made in sports and entertainment so far and we are excited to see what they do next from here.”

StadiumDrop said that as it prepares for rapid growth, the company will bring on board several positions in the next few months. The company said that it’s confident that McKinney will be an attractive area for prospective employees and an ideal location for team members who will serve fans in multiple venues in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
