Fast Company is seeking to honor people making a difference in its World Changing Ideas Awards.
The second annual awards will highlight ideas, projects, or products that “have the potential to alter the lives of people and the direction of the planet for the better.” There are 12 categories varying from transportation and urban design to health and energy.
Entries can be projects and products that have been launched since January or ideas still in the concept phase.
In the inaugural year, 12 winners were selected from more than 1,000 entries for the awards. Winners ranged from a 3D printer capable of producing living tissues and organs to a fruit and vegetable prescription program.
Applications for the 2018 awards will be accepted through Dec. 7.
