Patents granted include: Velos Media's device for decoding a video bitstream; Apple's cylindrical compact computing system; State Farm's detection of anomalous computer behavior; Texas Instruments' estimation of time to collision in a computer vision system; USAA's monitoring systems and methods for personal safety; Toyota's smart necklace with stereo vision and onboard processing; and Watchguard's system for peer-to-peer operation of multiple recording devices
