The executive director of the Friends of the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy is proud of the successes of the school's students. The school will graduate its fifth class of seniors this year, and so far it has an enviable record—a 100 percent graduation rate and college attendance rate.

From May 2-3 in Klyde Warren Park, the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center's is launching the Save Jane campaign. Volunteers and leaders from across North Texas are going to read the names of abused children from Dallas County for more than 24 hours.
