Old Gringo Boots Opens Flagship Store in Fort Worth After HQ Move from San Diego
Old Gringo Boots gave California the boot in late 2021, announcing it was leaving San Diego to hang its HQ hat in Cowtown. Now the company—whose handmade boots are made at a factory in Leon, Mexico, using a "meticulous 275-step process"—has opened its first-ever flagship store at 140 E. Exchange Avenue in Fort Worth's Stockyards district.

America’s Cup Racing Team Is Using Plano’s Siemens Xcelerator for Its Yacht Design
The Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team is using the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of software and services "to design, simulate, and optimize" its racing yacht for the 2024 America's Cup challenge in Barcelona. "Using Siemens' software, the hull, foils, rudder, and sails can be analyzed as part of the digital twin, to understand how each surface responds to the changes in the project parameters, thus speeding up our work," says the team's Matteo Ledri.

Toronto-based GameSquare announced a merger agreement last week with Engine Gaming & Media, a data-driven gaming, media, and influencer marketing platform company. The all-stock deal could give the combined company "an audience and reach as large as any gaming and esports company currently in the market," management said. Jerry Jones and John Goff will continue to be the largest investors of the combined entity, with the Jones family and Goff Capital holding "significant" board representation.

AT&T Stadium Is Getting a $295 Million Upgrade

Jerry World is still a marvel to millions, but it's not quite as cutting-edge as when it first opened in 2009. Now the Dallas Cowboys are about to do something about it, with $295 million in upgrades planned for AT&T Stadium. That's according to a report by Sports Business Journal, which says the refresh won't "radically alter" the look and feel of the 100,000-seat stadium. Instead, most of those millions will go toward refreshing premium spaces that are set for lease renewals, as well as upgrading back-end systems and technology in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup.
