Mortgage Firm Supreme Lending Announces Chief Information Officer

Baiju Thakkar brings nearly 25 years of IT leadership, knowledge, and experience to this new role, in which he will be instrumental in developing, engineering, and implementing innovative, efficient technology initiatives to support the company's growth.

Supreme Lending announced it has appointed Baiju Thakkar chief information officer of the Dallas-based full-service mortgage lender.

Thakkar brings nearly 25 years of IT leadership, knowledge, and experience to the role, in which he will be instrumental in developing, engineering, and implementing innovative, efficient technology initiatives to support the company’s growth.

Supreme Lending said that Thakkar is passionate about delivering meaningful change through effective partnerships and will provide impactful leadership the company’s IT team to ensure security, quality, and stability.

“I’ve inherited an excellent IT Team, and I am excited to get to know all of them individually and grow and build nerdy things together,” the new CIO said in a LinkedIn post. 

Thakkar looks forward to working with Supreme Lending’s “exceptional forward-thinking leadership team.”

Over the past four years, Thakkar has led strategic technology development initiatives at two nationwide mortgage companies, with a focus on building innovative teams and solutions, Supreme said.

Since Supreme Lending was founded in 1999 by Scott Everett, the company said its mission has been to create the best home financing experience possible, with a focus on transparency and taking the mystery out of the mortgage process.

Supreme Lending said it has an ever-expanding branch network and team of talented mortgage professionals, and that it assists families nationwide achieve home ownership using innovative technology and a variety of loan solutions to meet any lending need.

Thakkar holds a bachelor’s degree from City University of New York and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
