UT Southwestern’s New School of Public Health Lands $100M Gift—One of the Largest for a Public School of Its Kind

The University’s newest school in more than 50 years will be named after Peter O’Donnell Jr., the late local investor and visionary philanthropist. The School of Public Health will be "research-intensive,' says Interim Dean Celette Sugg Skinner.

The school plans to welcome its first class of Master of Public Health students in the fall of 2023, followed by classes for Ph.D. students in the fall of 2024.

TCU School of Medicine Is Building a New Campus in Fort Worth’s Medical District

The project will kick off with a four-story, approximately 100,000-square-foot medical education building, which TCU says will serve as an “academic hub” for around 240 students and hundreds of faculty and staff members, after its planned completion in 2024. At the new campus, TCU School of Medicine's innovative curriculum will continue—with students focused on major drivers of medicine's future, including AI, genomics, and advanced monitoring technology.

Starship Technologies Launches Robot Food Deliveries at SMU

The app-controlled, on-demand robots have Mustang branding and can deliver up to 20 pounds of food in "minutes." Starship, co-founded by a former Skype founding engineer, has made over 2.5 million autonomous deliveries worldwide.
