Balfour Beatty, a Dallas-based construction company, announced senior leadership changes within its US Civils business appointing Mark Johnnie as chief operating officer and Kelly Phariss to vice president of West operations.
The company said the appointments support intentional and strategic planning of its highways and bridges, rail, and water businesses to expand Balfour Beatty’s Civils operations....
Plano-based movie theater giant Cinemark Holdings announced that founder Lee Roy Mitchell has stepped down from its board of directors after nearly 40 years at the company, with son Kevin Mitchell succeeding him....
As part of its succession plan, Irving-based Commercial Metals Co. has appointed Peter R. Matt as president, effective April 1. He succeeds Barbara R. Smith who will remain chairman and CEO of the company.
Matt will continue to serve on the company’s board, which he joined in June 2020.
