Dodson Commercial Real Estate is building five new mixed-use buildings along Front Street to house restaurants, retail, and apartments. The expansion will result in a five-city-block attraction for downtown Arlington. The city's largest public accounting firm, Sutton Frost Cary LLP, will be relocating to a 21,000-SF office building that's part of the project.

Two Dallas VCs Make First Three Investments in Food and Beverage ‘Disrupters’ from $15M CPG Fund

Blake Wiley and Grant Christopher reviewed 300 companies before deciding on the CPG fund's first 3 "disrupter" investments—Austin-based Tiff's Treats; Chicago cloud-kitchen startup Epic Kitchens; and a California plant-based supplements firm.
As the VCs search for five more startups, they believe co-investing will triple their fund's holdings to $45 million.
