Munck Wilson Mandala Expands into Fort Worth, Names Life Sciences-Focused Leader

Quintin Cassady, a former general counsel at Galderma Laboratories, will lead the Dallas law firm's Fort Worth office. He has more than 30 years of experience advising global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer product companies on complex litigation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property strategy, compliance, and corporate growth initiatives, the firm said.

Dallas-based Munck Wilson Mandala, LLP is launching a new Fort Worth office under the leadership of veteran life sciences legal and business executive Quintin Cassady, who has “deep ties and roots in Fort Worth.”

William A. Munck, global managing partner of Munck Wilson Mandala, noted that Fort Worth “is the 10th largest economy in the country and home to all that makes Texas great. It’s a privilege for our firm to open an office there.”

“Fort Worth is a tight-knit community,” Munck added in a statement, “and we would only plant a flag there alongside a deeply respected member of that community. Quintin has deep ties and roots in Fort Worth, and his standing, relationships, and decades of leadership make him exactly the right partner to lead our new office.”

Cassady has more than 30 years of experience advising global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer product companies on complex litigation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property strategy, compliance, and corporate growth initiatives.

Long-time Galderma executive

With deep expertise in legal and compliance issues, Cassady has guided more than 30 mergers, acquisitions, and licensing transactions involving products and businesses generating more than $10 billion in global revenue, the firm said. He also has extensive experience leading high-stakes intellectual property and pharmaceutical litigation, including more than 50 successful patent litigation matters and multiple inter partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Cassady spent more than 20 years at Galderma Laboratories in Fort Worth, serving as vice president, general counsel & compliance officer for North America, guiding legal and compliance strategy for a global portfolio of products spanning dermatology, injectable aesthetics, and consumer health. While at Galderma, he oversaw significant pharmaceutical and intellectual property litigation matters protecting billions of dollars in product sales, guided major acquisitions and divestitures, and played a central role in numerous high-value transactions involving leading dermatology and aesthetic brands.

Most recently, Cassady served as VP and general counsel for Modern Meadow, a New Jersey-based biotech company, during a pivotal time of growth where he directed legal strategy for fundraising, licensing, joint ventures, intellectual property, employment, regulatory matters, ESG initiatives, and corporate governance while serving on the company’s senior leadership team.

Cassady has extensive experience advising companies on product commercialization strategies, regulatory and reimbursement matters, compliance frameworks, corporate governance, patent strategy, litigation management, and post-acquisition integration.

‘One of the most dynamic business markets in the country’

“Fort Worth has become one of the most dynamic business markets in the country, attracting innovators, investors, and companies building transformative technologies and products,” said Cassady. “Munck Wilson Mandala has established a strong reputation for serving entrepreneurs, growth-stage companies, and industry leaders, and I’m excited to help expand the firm’s presence in Fort Worth while supporting clients navigating complex business and legal challenges.”

An Oklahoma native who has lived in Fort Worth for more than 30 years, Cassady has long been an active civic leader in North Texas, the firm said. He currently serves as board chair of the University of North Texas Health Science Center Foundation and is a 30-year-plus member of Colonial Country Club.

Munck Wilson Mandala said that Cassady’s “commitment to the Fort Worth community makes him an ideal choice to establish and lead the firm’s presence in the city.”.

The opening of the Fort Worth office highlights Munck Wilson Mandala’s continued growth and investment in Texas’ expanding innovation economy, particularly within life sciences, AI, technology, manufacturing, and emerging industries, the firm said.
