These boots were made for walking—straight to a Cowboys game.
Lucchese Bootmaker—the famous Texas boot brand with headquarters in the Dallas Design District and a factory in El Paso—has spurred up a five-year deal to be the official boot brand of the Dallas Cowboys.
But instead of just putting a few ads up in Jerry World, the company kicked things up a notch with a whole new line of ‘Boys-branded boots in its Lucchese x Dallas Cowboys collaborative collection.
There are Cowboys men’s boots. Cowboys women’s boots. And for the first time ever since Lucchese’s founding 140 years ago, children’s boots made just for girls.
They won’t be the first Lucchese boots to make the team, however—the legendary company has been designing boots for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders since 2011.
“The bond between Lucchese and the Dallas Cowboys as two Texas-based institutions is strengthened by our mutual appreciation of each other’s rich history and dedication to excellence,” Lucchese President Doug Kindy said in a statement. “This partnership is not the beginning of something new, rather, the continuation and strengthening of a joint legacy.”
“Lucchese prides itself on championing our craft, which has made us the clear and prime choice for America’s Team,” he added. “We both pursue excellence daily, and the cultural stature we each share will be compounded in our storied relationship.”
Sharing ‘core values of tradition and culture’
Charlotte Jones, the Cowboys’ EVP and chief brand officer, said Lucchese shares the team’s “core values of tradition and culture” and called the expanded partnership “a destined alignment of two beloved Texas-bred American institutions.”
Doug Hogue, VP or product at Lucchese, said his team “is buzzing over this collection because it allows us to capture the spirit and notoriety of the Dallas Cowboys in the fashion and unmatched skill of Lucchese.”
“To also have the opportunity to debut our very first children’s boot with such a cherished brand partner of ours is monumental,” Hogue added in a statement. “As a brand composed of many celebrated generations, it’s humbling to create something the younger generations of Cowboys fans can pass down to their children, too.”
The Lucchese x Dallas Cowboys collection will retail for between $545 and $995 for adult styles, the company said, and is available for pre-sale online and on display at select Lucchese locations at the end of August. The $275 Little Gina children’s boot is slated to ship in October.
