Great Place to Work and Fortune Magazine have released their list of the 2022 Best Workplaces in Texas—and 32 of them are in North Texas, including 10 of the 25 large companies on the list.
To produce the list, Fortune partnered with Oakland, California-based analytics firm Great Place to Work to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations across America.
Over 1 million employee survey responses and data were collected from U.S. companies representing more than 6.1 million employees to create the 2022 list.
“The survey enables employees to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback about their organization’s culture by responding to 60 statements on a 5-point scale and answering two open-ended questions,” Great Place to Work says.
Collectively, the statements describe a great employee experience, which is marked by high levels of trust, respect, credibility, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. Companies also give information about their organizations, such as their size, location, industry, demographics, roles, and levels.

North Texas Giving Day lasts more than a day—its 14th annual event will kick off September 1 and run through September 22. To get both nonprofits and North Texans ready for it, the Communities Foundation of Texas is partnering with software company Mightycause for a new fundraising platform this year. “We want to continue to grow the spirit of giving by engaging and activating more donors as each individual gift, no matter the size, helps the collective,” says CFT Senior VP Monica Christopher.
