From coffee, burgers, and shawarma to cocktails, tacos, and more, the revamped Crockett Hall recently reopened with original fan favorites along with new eateries on West Seventh in Fort Worth.
Formerly known as Food Hall at Crockett Row, the reimagined 16,000-square-foot Crockett Hall includes fifteen eateries, new dining and lounging areas, expanded patio dining, and free WiFi, according to a statement.
Food Hall at Crockett Row originally opened in December of 2018, with Crockett Row property manager Vestar placing Hospitality Alliance at the helm. In early 2020, Dallas-based B. Russo Designs took the reins from Hospitality Alliance with restaurant designer and developer Bruce Russo and his team taking the lead in renovations.
With Hospitality Alliance busy with the AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas, Vestar was looking for a new operator for Food Hall at Crockett Row, according to Russo.
He was very familiar with the project because he was a consultant on the original concept, which featured individual restaurants and spaces with inconsistent branding and spotty customer service. Russo and his team opened up the interior and gave it more fluid, flexible spaces with unified messaging and a focus on exceptional customer service.
“The new Crockett Hall provides a true ‘restaurant’ experience, as opposed to the ‘food court’ model it originally opened as,” Russo, founder of B. Russo Designs, said in a statement. “Not only do we offer 15 total artisan food and beverage options, we invested heavily in high-end finishes, gorgeous lighting, comfortable seating, and flexible, on-trend spaces for folks to sit, relax and stay awhile. Crockett Hall is a first-of-its-kind vibrant dining destination that we are thrilled to finally debut to Fort Worth.”
With current pandemic restrictions, the adjustable layout of the space allows for social distancing, with plenty of open interiors and outdoor seating areas.
Russo told Dallas Innovates, “We have a very large occupancy load at Crockett Hall, so social distancing our tables and seating arrangements has been much easier for us compared to a single restaurant facility. With the COVID spacing and social distancing currently in place, Crockett Hall offers a very comfortable dining experience for lunch, dinner, or just to have a cocktail or a glass of wine.”
Before renovating Crockett Hall, B. Russo Designs designed and developed Dee Lincoln Prime, a steakhouse and sushi bar, at The Star in Frisco; Parisian cafe Toulouse in Plano and Dallas; and Woodlands American Grill in Allen, Dallas, and Chicago.
Crockett Hall’s current restaurant lineup includes Not Just Q featuring meats smoked daily and made-from-scratch sides; Polly’s Pot Pies with homemade sweet and savory pies from handed-down family recipes; Cheeseapalooza serving gourmet grilled cheese, specialty mac and cheeses, and all kinds of queso; and Salurrito with options of salad wraps, salads, and burritos packed with the ingredients of your choosing.
Crockett Hall is open seven days a week, with nearby free parking (street or validated parking garage). Food and drinks are available for dine-in, carry out, and delivery. For more information, go here.
