TWU Tops Off $107M Health Sciences Center Building in Denton, Slated to Open in 2025

The $107 million, 136,000-square-foot health sciences center will serve as an inter-professional education facility linking students in the allied health fields with an emphasis on preparing them to serve in rural settings. The building will also expand health-related programming, community outreach, research, and other activities at TWU.

Christopher has held key fundraising and relationship building posts over the past 25 years at Communities Foundation of Texas, The Dallas Morning News, and WFAA, and is the the former chair of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Leadership Dallas Alumni. On February 1, she became the inaugural president of TWU's Dallas campus, the T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences-Dallas Center, located in an eight-story, 190,000-square-foot building in the heart of the Southwestern Medical District.

TWU Team Secures Patent for Astronaut Visor After Winning NASA Challenge

The team of Texas Woman’s University kinesiology seniors won the top prize in the Texas Space Grant Consortium Design Challenge Showcase last month at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. They enhanced a device originally designed by their predecessor team last fall—which made history by being the first all-female design team to win the competition.

NSF Awards $100K Grant to TWU Researchers to Increase STEM Recruitment in Indigenous Communities
