Fort Worth-Based HTeaO Gets Growth Investments from Two Dallas PE Firms

Fort Worth-based HTeaO is quenching thirsts with "ultra-premium" iced teas and coffee at 68 locations in five states, with 93 units currently under construction. This week, Dallas-based Crux Capital and Trive Capital both decided to have a taste—by getting a minority stake in the company. HTeaO currently offers 26 flavors of fresh-brewed iced tea, from Root Beer to Sweet Blueberry Green to Sweet Turbo Citrus Energy Tea and more.

Cascade Services was created through a partnership between Trive, LP First Capital, and an experienced management team to pursue acquisition opportunities in the residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services sector.
The Cascade team includes CEO Tyrone "Ty" Johnson, who previously was a Trive operating partner and chief executive officer of publicly traded Select Interior Concepts.

Trive-Backed Karman Systems Acquires Systima Technologies, Speeding Its Push Into Space and Hypersonic Markets

It was only last January that Trive Capital—a Dallas-based PE firm—formed Karman in a partnership with AMRO Fabricating and Aerospace Engineering. The Systima acquisition is the fifth transaction Trive has completed in the last 12 months in building the Karman platform into an aerospace and hypersonic powerhouse.

The acquisition by Thriving Brands was announced in June, but Trive's involvement was only revealed today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 2006, Henkel and its U.S. Dial division acquired Right Guard, Dry Idea, and Soft & Dry from Proctor & Gamble for $420 million.
