This year's Island Resilience Forum is championing the SC1.5NCE Not SILENCE campaign, which mobilizes world leaders and national governments to publicly champion the IPCC 1.5C Special Report, a study that looks at the impacts of global warming.

The "Non Sibi" monument "will forever be a reminder" of the crew and passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 that fought back against the terrorists who hijacked their plane.
