My Possibilities' new Career Services Building, which broke ground in May, will provide support to another 300 HIPsters (aka Hugely Important People—MP's students) on a weekly basis.

From August 26 through September 24, you can upgrade your home's interior design at a discount while helping out a good cause. The annual Thrift Studio pop-up in the Dallas Design District is a key fundraiser for Dwell with Dignity—a nonprofit that changes lives by bringing good design to families who can afford it the least. Plus, this year's event features a first-ever Social Impact Marketplace.
A ticket to the First Look preview party on August 25 provides early access. For some immediate gratification, here's a look at vignettes created pro bono by nine leading Dallas designers, featuring donated high-end home decor items sold at significant discounts, with 100% of sales benefitting Dwell with Dignity’s mission.

The Healthy Kids, Healthy Families grant was awarded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Plano-based My Possibilities will use the funding to support its Healthy Lifestyles curriculum, integrating health and fitness activities into daily practice for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
