Fresh Meals Platform FreshRealm To Relocate HQ from California to Dallas Area

FreshRealm says its new HQ and facility in Lancaster will enable it to produce "superior short shelf-life meals at a scale and solidify its position in the high-growth fresh meals category." In the last year, FreshRealm has acquired the operational assets of two leading meal kit companies for around $74 million.

In 2022, we told you about two next-gen, robotics-packed Walmart facilities that were coming to Lancaster, just south of Dallas: a 1.5 million-square-foot automated fulfillment center and a 730,000 square-foot automated grocery distribution center. The first opened last year and the second is still under construction. When it's completed, it will complete a trifecta of transformation in the region, including a retrofitted 1.2-million-square-foot distribution center in Sanger, north of Denton.

Lineage Expands Texas Footprint By Opening Its Newest Facility in Lancaster

The addition of the Lancaster location puts Lineage’s footprint in Texas at nearly 20 facilities spanning roughly 192 million cubic feet of capacity.
