Leaders from a variety of disciplines, including Wick Allison, James Pratt, Robert Sardello, and Dr. Gail Thomas, contributed to the thoughtful book but it is the great educator Dr. Louise Cowan’s chapter that informed my perception of Dallas with a new civic sense of education and responsibility.
