Drone Tech Leader EagleNXT Relocating to North Texas, Plans Drone and Sensor Plant

At EagleNXT's new HQ in Allen, the company will set up its first-ever U.S. production line for its eBee VISION drone, a fixed-wing surveillance drone that can be deployed in three minutes by a single operator. EagleNXT will also be manufacturing its agricultural MicaSense multispectral sensors at the Allen facility, the company said.

"To do it justice, we intend to build something really spectacular here." The first phase of the project, Sloan Corners, will be a transformation "from hayfields to a regional employment hub," city of Allen officials said.

XCharge North America will install its Net Zero Series EV charging station—which includes an energy storage system and a DC Fast Charging (DCFC) port option—at MD7's corporate HQ in Allen. This will mark the first deployment of an open-access DCFC charging station in Allen, the company says. The charger is designed with bi-directional capability that gives power back to the grid in times of need.
