Recuro Health said Ash Tengshe's appointment represents a significant addition to its executive leadership team.

Ash Tengshe has been appointed senior vice president and chief product & technology officer of Recuro Health, a Coppell-based leader in innovative healthcare solutions.

Recuro said Tengshe’s appointment represents a significant addition to its executive leadership team.

“Ash’s deep expertise and innovative spirit align perfectly with our mission to revolutionize healthcare through technology,” Phil Fasano, chairman & CEO, Recuro Health, said in a statement. “His leadership will be instrumental in advancing our vision and delivering modern solutions that empower patients and transform the healthcare landscape.”

Fasano was named chairman and CEO by the board in July.

Driving digital delivery and product transformation

Tengshe will lead the strategic implementation of technology investments, collaborating closely with the technology, engineering, and product divisions within the company.

He brings decades of leadership experience in healthcare, technology development and operations, with a focus on customer-centric product development.

Recuro said Tengshe’s previous tenure at Wells Fargo showcased his expertise in driving digital delivery and product transformation, resulting in the successful launch of a multitude of customer-facing products tailored to mass-market and commercial customers.

His innovative contributions in the field have resulted in multiple pending patents, Recuro said.

“I am truly thrilled and deeply honored to assume the role of senior vice president and chief product & technology officer at Recuro Health. This opportunity represents an exciting new chapter in my career, and I am eager to lead our talented team towards innovative solutions that will transform healthcare for the better,” Tengshe said in a statement. “I am committed to driving forward groundbreaking advancements in healthcare technology that enhance patient experiences, improve outcomes, and make advanced healthcare more accessible and efficient.”

Expertise in healthcare tech

Prior to joining Recuro Health, Tengshe was vice president at Kaiser Permanente, where he played a pivotal role in leading engineering and technical product and program teams within the care delivery space.

Tengshe’s achievements at Kaiser Permanente include the establishment of a business agility and technology delivery shared service, delivering core platforms for telehealth, pharmacy, EMR integrations, clinical desktop, virtual urgent care, appointing, and referral solutions.

Also, two applications delivered by his team won the CIO 100 awards for use of machine learning to streamline hospital operations.

During his 12 years at Kaiser Permanente, Tengshe led initiatives that expedited the adoption of intuitive and intelligent technology for healthcare providers and members.
