Plano-based RealManage, a leading community association management company, has named Jose Costa as its new chief executive, succeeding interim CEO Carl Liebert. Liebert will continue to support RealManage as a member of the company’s board and as a partner at RealManage’s sponsor, American Securities.
Aaron Maeng, board chairman of RealManage and partner at American Securities, called Costa “an accomplished leader who brings a deep commitment to developing talented teams, building strong organizations, and delivering incredible results.”
“Jose has distinguished himself through his authentic leadership style, strategic vision, and deep commitment to people and service,” Maeng added in a statement. “I’m excited about RealManage’s future under his leadership and confident he will build on our strong foundation, strengthen our culture, and drive the next phase of growth.”
For more than three decades, Costa has led customer-focused, multi-location service organizations, including Bojangles, For Eyes, Driven Brands, and Burger King. Most recently, Costa was CEO and board member of Whistle Express, where he guided the company’s expansion from 45 to 530 units in four years, building one of the largest express car wash platforms in the United States. His appointment highlights the company’s intentional focus on long-term growth, service excellence, and continuing commitment to the communities it serves, RealManage said.
“What drew me to RealManage is its people, culture, and commitment to serving communities,” Costa said. “I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our talented associates as we build the next chapter together.”
Prioritizing serving clients, supporting associates, and executing its long-term strategy, RealManage said its client service teams, leadership contacts, and day-to-day operations remain unchanged as it continues to deliver exceptional service to communities, boards, and residents.
