Fort Worth-based mechanical contracting company DynaTen Corp. announced that CEO Scott Brady will retire effective Friday, July 3, following a career spanning more than 40 years in the industry. As part of a planned transition, the company’s president, Kyle Hogue, will assume leadership of DynaTen.
“Kyle Hogue and this leadership team are extremely well-positioned to lead DynaTen into the future,” Brady said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. Beyond the terms of projects, but also in the strength of our culture and the capabilities of our team. The foundation is strong, and I have the utmost confidence in what’s ahead for the corporation.”
Hogue, who has served as president for the past three years, will continue in his role while taking on leadership of DynaTen. His deep expertise in business development, operations management, service, and strategic leadership, along with his track record for building a culture of accountability, employee development, and collaboration, equips him to successfully guide the company’s continued growth, innovation, and commitment to providing high-performance mechanical solutions, DynaTen said.
Hogue said DynaTen is approaching “a pivotal time” for opportunities in North Texas and across core markets.
“Demand for high-performance mechanical systems in healthcare and mission-critical facilities continues to grow,” he added, “and our focus remains on delivering complex projects with precision, expanding our service and maintenance capabilities to support customers throughout the full lifecycle of their systems, all while developing the next generation of skilled professionals.”
A culture of ‘leveling up’
After acquiring DynaTen in 2004, Brady led the company through sustained growth and changing operations, including its acquisition by Comfort Systems USA in 2014. He was named CEO in 2019 and continued to guide the company’s development within Comfort Systems USA. His tenure has been “marked by transformation, innovation, and steady leadership,” DynaTen said.
Under Brady’s leadership, DynaTen bolstered its position as a leading mechanical contractor in North Texas and beyond, particularly in healthcare, commercial, and mission-critical environments. Brady “championed an engineering-first approach, reshaping how complex projects are delivered,” including hospitals and data centers.
The company said that Brady also created a culture of accountability, problem-solving, mentorship, and long-term relationships. His focus on continually “leveling up” to expand capabilities while taking on bigger challenges has had a lasting impact on both the organization and its people.
“This transition reflects the strength and continuity of our leadership team,” Hogue said. “Scott has shaped DynaTen in a way that goes far beyond the numbers, enabling the company to experience exponential growth. He built an incredible team, shaped a culture, and established a standard of excellence that will continue to guide us. I’m grateful for his leadership and for everything he has done to position us for continued success.”
