Grace Hill, an Irving-based provider of software solutions for multifamily and commercial property owners, has named Matt Cotter as its new chief executive effective. Kendall Pretzer, who has served as Grace Hill CEO since 2021, has transitioned into the role of chief strategy officer, guiding customer relationships, industry events, and strategic initiatives.
“Grace Hill has built a well-deserved reputation as a leader in the real estate technology sector, helping owners and operators reduce operating risk and develop top talent,” Cotter said in a statement. “Under Kendall’s leadership, Grace Hill has fostered a high-performance, values-driven culture, while delivering solutions tailored to clients’ specific needs. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead such a strong Company as we continue to expand our technology platform and capabilities.”
Cotter has more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology, real estate, and software development industries, most recently serving for almost five years as chief executive officer of PairSoft, a financial automation platform for mid-market and enterprise organizations. Previously, he was EVP at Altus Group, as well as president and CEO of ExactBid. He also has served on the boards of directors at Class Valuation and Verafin.
Focusing on continued growth and customer service
Grace Hill is a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm based in Los Angeles.
