STARTUP CRAWL FORT WORTH
Multiple locations, in Fort Worth
5 – 9 p.m.

The first annual Startup Crawl FW is a single-night exploration and tour of Fort Worth’s startup community. Participants will travel between the seven locations via shuttle buses: Common Desk Fort Worth, Connex, Ensemble Coworking, James E. Guinn Campus (Fort Worth Business Assistance Center, Tech FW, and IDEA Works), Texas Christian University, the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and newly opened WeWork Clearfork.

SEMINAR ON MY CLIENT IS THE DEVIL (AND OTHER MYTHS)
WeWork Thanksgiving Tower, 1601 Elm St., Floor 33, in Dallas
6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Join Brass Tacks Collective for an evening seminar featuring authors Mark McKinney and Steve Fedorko as they talk about their book, “My Client is the Devil (And Other Myths).” The book explores the services professional/client relationship. Rather than looking at ways to make the client happy, it focuses on “how to help the professional thrive, not just survive,” according to the event page.

DEEP ELLUM OUTDOOR MARKET

2 – 8 p.m.

Come meet some of Dallas’ and Deep Ellum’s finest makers, crafters, and artists on the 100 block of North Crowdus (between Elm and Main) in Deep Ellum. This month’s market will include Ami Art Glass, SAAP Lao Kitchen, Gypsy Angel Creations, and many more. The market is held every third Saturday of the month.

MONDAY, JUNE 4

MILLENNIAL DEBATE + SPEAKER SERIES: REAL ESTATE
Deep Ellum Distillery, 2817 Canton St., in Dallas
6 – 9 p.m.

Dallas Millennial Club presents another panel, this month on the Texas real estate space. According to event organizers, the goal of the event is “to encourage meaningful interactions between our attendees, panelists, and sponsors.”

Brazen is an organization that offers support and resources for female entrepreneurs at all stages of business through group discussions, roundtables, and networking events. The DFW chapter is having a launch event in Dallas to give women in the area who want to build their business a taste of what the organization has to offer. The event is open to all women in the DFW area seeking growth on their business journey. Brazen also will be having a Fort Worth launch event 6-9 p.m. June 12 at The 4 Eleven, 411 S. Main St. in Fort Worth.

SMART GROWTH FOR DALLAS: RACE, ETHNICITY, AND ACCESS TO PARKS
Dallas Black Dance Theatre, 2700 Ann Williams Way, in Dallas
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The Smart Growth for Dallas panel will examine how Dallas could tackle current and future public space design with equity and accessibility for all of its residents in mind, according to the event page. Senior Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Alfreda Norman will moderate this panel discussion.
