TWU CENTER FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS HOSTS DISNEY INSTITUTE LEADERSHIP AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SUMMIT
Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center in Denton

TWU is hosting a two-day summit to show how leadership can drive company culture by communicating shared visions and values. There will also be representatives from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts speaking on how their company became such a success. Each day of the conference has an overarching theme, with day one focusing on leadership, and day two focusing on employee engagement.

SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE & FESTIVALS

SXSW is the self-proclaimed “world’s largest gathering of creative professionals” with a diverse mixture of events with topics ranging from music to technology to comedy. There will be a conference along with four festivals, multiple exhibitions, and plenty of chances to network — all in the span of ten days.

BLOCKCHAIN & DECENTRALIZED TECH SUPERSUMMIT 
Plano Event Center in Plano

Girls in Tech Dallas and the Blockchain Super Summit are partnering up to host a series of activities associated with blockchain and related technologies. This international conference will tackle different aspects of the tech world including cryptocurrency, coding, and blockchains.

STARTUP DALLAS WEEK

Since 2013, Startup Dallas Week has been focused on cultivating the entrepreneurial North Texas community. This five-day event is expected to be full of activities meant to educate and inspire entrepreneurs across the DFW metroplex.

SOLUNA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL 
Multiple locations in Dallas

Soluna is expected to bring music, visual art, dance, and theatre to the Dallas community for almost the entire month of April. There will be a wide range of performers including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Grammy Award winner Terence Blanchard, and many more.

DREAMHACK DALLAS 
Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas

This digital festival will have something for everyone with activities including esports tournaments, cosplay competitions, and much more. With this event attracting over 300,000 people annually, it may be a good idea to get your tickets early when they go on sale Dec. 12. SATURDAY, JUNE 22 – SUNDAY, JUNE 23

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC: SYMPHONY FOR OUR WORLD
Morton H. Myerson Symphony Center in Dallas

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is pairing up with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to bring nature through music to life. The performance will combine National Geographic natural-history footage and with music created by Emmy and BAFTA nominated composers, Austin Fray and Andrew Christie. The orchestra will be conducted by Kelly Corcoran.
