Are you drooling yet? The World Food Championships is headed to Dallas this fall, and they just announced that Texas Petite Pies will be this year’s presenting sponsor. This local bakery team will be providing their fillings and creams for the structure and infusion rounds, set to provide some delicious concoctions.

ORIGINS: FOSSILS FROM THE CRADLE OF HUMANKIND
Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Curious about the history of humankind? At this limited-run exhibition, the fossils of two recently discovered ancient human relatives (Australopithecus sediba and Homo naledi) will make the trip to the U.S. from South Africa for the first—and likely only—time. Together, these two fossils provide further evidence for the nuanced processes of human evolution.

DRC’S 23RD ANNUAL WOMEN’S BUSINESS CONFERENCE

This years theme is “100”, marking the centennial of the 19th amendment. ART BALL 55
Dallas Museum of Art  

Established in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) is among the 10 largest art museums in the country and is distinguished by its commitment to research, innovation, and public engagement. At the heart of the Museum and its programs is its global collection, which encompasses 25,000 works and spans 5,000 years of history, representing a full range of world cultures. Located in the nation’s largest arts district, the Museum acts as a catalyst for community creativity, engaging people of all ages and backgrounds with a diverse spectrum of programming, from exhibitions and lectures to concerts, literary events, and dramatic and dance presentations. The gala evening will be comprised into three distinct parts. Foreshadow: a cocktail reception looking 55 years forward; Déjà Vu: a seated dinner, which takes guests 55 years back; and finally, Mirage: a club-like celebration. A separate ticket will be available for guests who wish to attend the after party only.
