Founded in 2008, 900lbs is a Dallas-based tech-driven design agency dedicated to using its collaborative office space and culture to attract the top employees in the industry.
The future-focused agency uses interactive and visual tools to bring its ideas to life. As a tech-driven company, 900lbs utilizes cutting-edge solutions to provide clients with unique and diverse results.
CEO and Founder Steve Deitz says 900lbs embraces its mission with an extremely cooperative and diverse workplace. The office space is a vital tool in maintaining a team of individuals that is both dynamic and innovative.
“Our team knows how much we genuinely care about each other at 900lbs. With a great balance of EQ and IQ, we celebrate successes and collaborate incredibly on challenges,” Deitz said. “There is a diverse range of strengths on our team and our goal is for everyone to feel valued, especially with the great springboard we have built for personal and professional growth.”
Being born in Germany and having traveled to 31 different countries, Deitz values inclusion, especially in the 900lbs office. Although 900lbs has invested in its office design, at the end of the day, the diversity of its team members is the cornerstone of its company culture.
“We live in a big, connected world, so, appreciating what makes us all different and creating a sense of belonging is most important in our workplace and our lives,” Deitz said.
“It is our people, clients, projects and swagger that give us a pull factor in the marketplace. People feel appreciated here even in a demanding environment.”
